Breast Augmentation Techniques
If you have been researching breast augmentation surgery then you likely have seen the more common breast implant surgery techniques that the surgeons are using but there is a new procedure that people refer to as belly button breast augmentation surgery that you may want to consider. It has some advantages and maybe a disadvantage or two versus traditional breast augmentation surgery.
Tradition Breast Augmentation Techniques
The more common surgery techniques involve inserting the implants through an incision that is either made in the fold underneath each breast, through an incision in each nipple or an incision in each underarm area. All of these surgeries have their own pros can cons. The major disadvantage to these types of surgery is breast augmentation scar tissue. The nipple surgery and the fold of the breast type surgery will leave scars that are actually right on your breast. This may or may not be acceptable to you simply because the breast is what you are trying to improve the looks of and scar tissue may not be something you are willing to endure.
The scar tissue on these types of surgery is minimal for sure and a high quality surgeon can almost ensure that they will fade to nearly invisible over time but some women do not want to risk that and have no stomach for scar tissue on their newly enhanced breasts. The underarm surgery takes some of that burden away but the scars are still fairly visible and this may not be a good alternative either.
Belly Button Breast Augmentation
The new procedure that is becoming more popular is Transumbilical Breast Augmentation Surgery but is more commonly known as belly button breast augmentation surgery. The surgeon makes a small incision at your navel and inserts the implants into your breasts from that incision.
The advantages to this type of procedure is simply that you only have one incision so only one scar and the scar is at your navel, well away from your breasts and not likely to be noticed by anyone staring at your newly enhanced breasts. While this surgery is rapidly gaining in popularity, not all doctors are trained to do it so you will have to check with your doctor to see if he or she will do it.
Check it out, it may be exactly what you are looking for.
